Thailand Day 3 to 6 - Bangkok 19-22 Sept 2009

Linked from the previous post... we arrived at our P2 Boutique Hotel in Bangkok. Upgraded our room from a Deluxe to Executive Deluxe (shown above) and of course we top-up extra money to stay better. We were quite disappointed that this was our hotel. we thought it was supposed to be a stand-alone hotel or sth... but it turn out to be along a stretch of shophouses in those "ULU" (deserted) place... Hey guys, something to take note - next time when you see stay in Boutique, it means sth like an Inn. Dont be faked by its nice name, Boutique! haha

In the evening we had a Thai Seafood dinner... which was very nice! but VERY expensive! it was a taxi driver who dropped us here to eat. when we saw the menu... we were like saying "Its not cheap lor..." haha... dunnoe if we have got "Tok" ? haha..

this was nice!

i ordered a coconut drink! Nice too! :)

Next mOrning!

Hotel Breakfast wasn't fantastic... But the smiley bread was sth that made us ... smiled :)

Visited the Jatuchak which i thought was spelt and pronouced as "Chatuchak" they are popular for their cheap stuffs and good bargains! Opens from 6am - 6pm which means only daytime. we visited at ard noon and it was darn HOT~ and stuffy inside!

cute puppies found inside the Jatuchak...
sleeping so soundly.

Finally found a place to hava drink... order some mix fruit juice. it was really rejuvenating esp. when the weather is so hot...

went to foot and shoulder massage at the JJ Mall there...
Mich did the foot massage only.

Here at the CENTRAL MALL we spotted Kiehl's and took a snap of it! Too bad i wasn't in my Kiehl's Tee which i actually brought along for this trip.

a new Audi Q5 on display at the shopping mall... and Mich loves Audi... hence i ask her to pose a picture for e camera... :)

this was sth quite funny which Mich kept laughing about... haha...

i imitated Mr. Ronald as well... :p

trying out the MacDonald's in Thailand...

we ordered these... Cant really remember the name of the burger i ordered... but its sth not available in Singapore. Initially from the picture we saw at the menu, we thought it would be spicy because usually Thai food are spicy n hot, but it turned to be the other way. was rather disappointed though... cos we thought we could try sth spicy. haha...

this was sth Mich laughed about also... which is quite true. Singapore we have Apple Pie, over there they have PineApple Pie! Hahaha.....

the hotel breakfast really sux... sorry to say that. but it really sux. hence we bought our stuffs for tmr's breakfast. things like breakfast cereal (which the hotel do not provide) and milk etc...

getting the groceries... looking as though we are living there... buying some food n groceries back home... haha...

the next day after some shopping... we had some relaxing coffee @ the Starbucks there... :)

Mich spotted this interesting shop at MBK...
it sells all the cosmetic stuffs.

look at how they dressed...

Buffet Price - 3 for 100 baht
tt is abt S$4 sth...

after that we had japanese food for our dinner...
its yummy!

see ? i bought so many stuffs...

it was the LAST DAY... and
these were the stuffs we bought...

luckily each of us hav brought an extra bag to put all our barang barang!

i bought quite a number of very nice berms at a good price plus a poker dot shirt which is abit expensive though... but i like it. In addition i also bought some slippers as well... e.g. Birkenstock.

Overall i would rate this trip 8/10.
Many good ,cheap and nice stuffs can be found there...
My favourite place to shop at is SUAN LOM... which has many cheap nice stuffs and theres an area where suddenly it becomes very trendy and the clothings are very nice and suitable for young people like us... very hip and in... i enjoyed shopping there and i would probably go back again to shop for more great stuffs over there.
U guys should visit there... Suan Lom!
Chiang Mai being a more rural side of Thailang, but I personally feel that Chiang Mai is much a nicer place than Bangkok...
When i arrived at Bangkok... its seems to me like half developed and half not developed. Hence it was like abit messy and rowdy. Whereas Chiang Mai seems to be a more peaceful place and the environment is cleaner. jus a comment though. :)

Last but not least... below is sth i did at the hotel...
using jus the bathroom slippers...
presenting u my perfect moonwalk!

Hope you enjoyed touring with us as well! ;)
