The Story

While China is traumatized by military cliques during the World War era in the 1020s, Shanghai is the cynosure of all eyes. People see it as both Hell's Kitchen and Heaven's Gate/ One of the city's most memorable heroes has to be Chen Zhen, who single-handedly avenges his mentor's death by killing all the Japanese at a dojo in Hongkou, only to be showered with bullets while making his legendary flying kick. Vanished from the public eye ever since, he has been taken dead though his body is never found.

Seven years later, a wealthy entrepreneur called Koo returns from abroad and makes a grand entrance on the Shanghai social scene by befriending the notorious mafia boss of the city. This mysterious man is none other than Chen Zhen in disguise who dwells in a world of nefarious means in order to infiltrate the criminal empire. He soon discovers a clandestine collusion between the mafia and the Japanese.

Disguised as a caped crusader at night, Chen sets out to dismantle with his martial arts skill the evil collusion that plaques the country. One of his foremost missions is to ferret out the assassination list prepared by the Japanese…





I would definitely want to catch this movie! Why?

Reason being...

1. Firstly, its a show by Donnie Yen. So far all the fighting shows like the Ip Man 1 & 2, Bodyguards and Assassins all starred by him were all VERY NICE and IMPRESSIVE! It has NOT disappoint me even once. Therefore, i will definitely anticipate any upcoming show that stars him. And now its the Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen, I'll definite go and catch this show!

2. Most of the time i felt that fighting shows or shows that has got to do with martial arts are very impressive and nice to watch. So this is a fighting show and I'm more than willing to sit in the cinema and see what this fighting show has to deliver.

Thanks to OMY, we got selected to watch the preview of Mulan!

the only Mulan I've ever watched was the disney version.. and I loved the story and soundtrack that came with it.. can't wait to see how this chinese version will fare!

collecting tickets at the reception... show starts at 715pm SHARP! Ticket collection starts at 645pm..

a ticket admits 2.. and were all ready for the show!

there's was never a moment where I got bored with the show. It was a mixture of romance, action and humour. OK... I like Vicky Zhao Wei.. so whatever show she acts in, I'll like! whahaha... there's also Chen Kun, Hu Jun, Vitas, Jaycee Chan, Nicky Lee, Jingle MA...

I would highly recommend this show to all.. young and old...

however....I dislike the ending BIG time! simply because.. Vicky and Chen Kun were not together in the end! wah piangz.. when the movie ended, I could hear similar responses from all around me..(mostly girls) "why like that!" ... "not like that one lah!" ... "wah lao!" ...

the princess of that stupid tribe should just leave.. so there'll be a happily-ever-after..

but....but.. still go watch the show k.. then towards the end, close your eyes and picture your own ending! whahaha....

i don't know when was the last time i watched a magic show... but this ONE by Priscilla Khong was really wOrth watching !

After the show, we went to this BONGO BURGERS inside Jurong Bird Park to have our dinner... its pretty late probably 8+ and we were HUNGRY!

Nice cosy place...

we took 4 pictures with 4 shots at one go,

with different theme n pose each time...



and there... this is the kind of result you get...! hAha...

took a picture with this uncle standing near the entrance before i left the place...
he's is quite funny... trying to joke with us abit.. haha!

Last but not least... we were greeted by this...
and yes... we had a magical time here !

LAND OF THE LOST movie preview - Omy.sg

Will Ferrell stars as has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall, sucked into one and spat back through time. Way back. Now, Marshall has no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts to survive in an alternate universe full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures from beyond our world - a place of spectacular sights and super-scaled comedy known as the Land of the Lost.

Sucked alongside him for the adventure are crack-smart research assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and a redneck survivalist (Danny McBride) named Will. Chased by T-Rex and stalked by painfully slow reptiles known as Sleestaks, Marshall, Will and Holly must rely on their only ally - a primate called Chaka (Jorma Taccone) to navigate out of the hybrid dimension. Escape from this routine expedition gone awry and they’re heroes. Get stuck, and they'll be permanent refugees in the Land of the Lost.

After watching the movie...

I find this entertaining, adventurous and thrilling... more of a comedy... I could hear people laughing out loud throughout the movie... some parts can be quite disgusting like the T-Rex urine, I would not say more, but leave it till you watch the movie... while some other areas can be quite ridiculous and absurd. But afterall, its still quite an enjoyable show to catch...

DOn't MisS iT !
